Production Studio!

Hey guys long time no write.

I hope everyone is well? Here is what my setup is looking like these days, not DJ'ing any more but loving the producing side of life.

Pink makes the boys wink....
This is my setup I need to get a laptop directly plugged into my mixer next & record all my vinyl which I am not looking forward to but it has to be done! Going to take me ages! :S

Ace set up man! I desperately need to know why you switched to the S9 from the 62? I have my choice for my 40th, and you've just thrown a big spanner in the works with this post :S

I've moved my gear back into the old spare room it used to be in. This is my most recent turntable set up.

Nice hifi Bod, love my 90's Technics gear too. Strong as an ox and nice sound. I always tried to get AA range and like you still have my tape deck.....also have a really nice Sony tape deck for recording mix tapes to digital.

90's hifi gear is great, definitely better than the later single box units.

Can you tell me the equipment that you have there on the picture?
1210,s I would say the turntables are and the mixer is a Pioneer DJM S9 Two Channel Serato DJ DVS Battle Mixer. I would be tempted to resist that mixer as it takes away the fun out of beat mixing by ear. .But I guess the positive to having a mixer that does the beat mixing for you is. That you don't have to have speakers on. Then you don't piss your neighbours off, what I did a lot of in the 90's. I have more respect now for my neighbours as am older. But back in the 90,s I use to have a KEF Subwoofer and the bass on them things will make you window shudder lol and really piss your neighbours off.
