I think you've taken the assumption that disabled people don't have a funny bone. He hasn't said anything nasty, but instead made light humour out of a situation

agreed jim, too much political correctness about these days for my liking. yes the man can be a bit insensitive at times, and yes, i did feel a bit guilty for chuckling at number 56, but i have a fairly dark sense of humour, and some of those made me piss my sides.
does that make me a bad person? it seems so these days :S
Although I'm a big piss taker and I have a sarcastic sense of humour I really don't appreciate somebody that is in a 'power position' to say some of the things that he has said. He is supposedly here to represent our country overseas, and he has done it very badly over the years.
Very badly to prudes and people with no sense of humour, but to many people across the whole commonwealth he's a ledge
He's the Queens silly sidekick, she's the one doing the real diplomatic work and most of the world knows now that he's a bit different. It doesn't have to be a bad thing though, especially when people find his antics amusing

He's unique really ole Philbo... he really doesn't give a fuck & for that alone he gets a
from me lol 4-5 years back my missus was filming at one of the statley homes and he came burning over in his range rover leaning out the window shouting abuse at the BBC film crew for being on his lawn. he kept shouting ' keep orf my fucking grass'

I always find him entertaining. But in an OMG
kind of way - he is definitely NOT a ledge. He's a bloody idiot. Completely no clue at all. He's not trying to be funny...he is racist, because he's probably the most ignorant person in the country. Funny, but not a legend. Just my opinion. PS - I am neither a prude, nor lacking in humour...just so you know.
