actually butty mate. Unless this thread has been altered. Pacman just started ranting about trumpet trance out of nowhere and started an argument.

it's a bit like someone saying "would you like a cup of tea?"

and someone replying " sod off I hate giraffes"

i wudnt call it a rant he was just saying his opinion on summet which is fair enough, everyones entitled to an opinion its all about respectin others opinions

il have a brew tho if someones makin :)

yeah it could be from about 1991 really, cos a school mate of mine Chris Wilcox used to have loads of tapes and it was about a year old at the time..... Sort of quite rough and chunky with it though, not really cheesetastic or owt from what I remember.
I think it was one of the first I heard in a spate of kids tv cover tunes..

Soz for not replying skippy, Ive only just seen it ...:)rolleyes:).

I dunno if its worth your while sending it, because of the postage costs involved and fannying around with decent packaging and that, also Im afraid I havent a clue what they go like........(either tracks).

Really appreciate the thought though. I would have baught it if it was me too. Ill have to find some samples and let you know.

So is "Magic Raveabout" the tune we are originally on about? Any more info on it? What was the group name, or is that all that was on it?. I dont think the Badman tune is the one Im thinking of (cheers Biskit).

Cheers (spesh Skippy)

both were about at the same time

the badman one was all bleeps. the only vocal being "zeebee dee arrived to see what was happening" i know cause i waited at the record shop counter until they were delivered. sad I know. The mark summers one is great and has lots of rap samples like hijack "pow pow automatic, got to have it"

Has everybody calmed down now ?

As for the rainbow thing, think i can go a bit earlier than the oen than most peeps are on about.

I've got one done way back from the mid to late 80's (White label promo - never got released).

It was done by Charlie Ale (from Ale'n'Harty) a northern couple of bods who used to go round the clubs (labour, social etc.) doing a stand up takin the piss routine. Got it from him when I used to to mobile and the likes.

It was called Zippin up the House.

It had voices from Rainbow, Emerdale and the likes - Real Funny Stuff ! !
