.................Said Granny Ramsden as they shot past her on the hovver board !!

They took the corner of the high street at great speed & only just held on for dear life.

"We've got to get there in once piece" shouted Red Manc.

And as they regained control of the hovver board round the corner....

"Oh Sh*t" shouted Kev, "It's market day!!"

"Ditch the hover board" shouted Red Manc "over here, we'll get there in this"

Kev looked round and saw his best mate was pointing at..............

........a fireblade in urban jungle colors, with a side car!!!!
Red manc jumped into the side car while Kev lit the back tyre up as they sped off through the town...there was just going to be enough time to get to the church, they both breathed a huge sigh of relief!!!

still riding very fast they were approaching a cross road...not slowing down kev steered the bike violently right...but OH NO the side car let go and off it went by it's self...to his horror Red manc.........

ended up head 1st in a 10 ft deep ditch of water!! . Cud it get any worse for old Red Manc?? Well it seems like god decided 2 help our r intrepid member & Red Manc found a long piece of rope in the sidecar, which he chucked up 2 Kev, who tied it 2 the bike & pulled him out. Poor Red Manc he looked like a drowned rat. The church was in sight, they cud see peeps millin bout but they cudn't turn up in the state they were in cos it wud ruin the big day.

Then Kev spotted a hotel with a revolin door jus a bit further down from the church. So in true superman style they whizzed round in the door & came out lookin spotless. They ran 2 the church & the ceremony went off without a hitch!!!

However the reception is another story..........................

......at the reception after Mr & Mrs Red Manc had been posing for photies at Piccadilly Gardens, they realised that none of the guests had arrived..."but they all knew it was in The Red Lion, so where have they gone ??" Mrs Red Manc said....Mr Red Manc was stood looking puzzled as they both looked at their beautiful tables laid out with fancy tableware and flowers.....

........when the manager walked in. Red Manc went up2 him & said "Thanks 4 makin the room look so luvley, jus wish I knew wot happened 2 r guests!"
The manager looked at him & with a sudden flash of inspiration said "U do know there's another Red Lion don't u? Wonder if they've got confused & have gone there instead?" "I can check with them if u want?"

Red Manc said "Cheers m8 wud u?"

"No probs"said the manager & off he went..................

...after making his phonecall, the manager came back and said to Mr & Mrs Red Manc, Im afraid your guests are refusing to move as they have a huge screen tv in the other Red Lion and theyre camping out ready for the football. What would you like me to do ?? If I install a huge screen tv we will have to sell your wedding cake to cover the cost, the choice is yours??? So Mr & Mrs Red Manc sit there pondering what to do, when suddenly Mr Red Manc has a brainwave.......

"Not possible" said the manager

At this point Mrs Red Manc was near 2 tears, her big days was lookin like it was gonna b ruined....................

Bman stepped in & saved the day. He flew 2 the other Red Lion, rallied the troops & got em over 2 the rite pub, where miracoulsy a bigger wide screen tv had appeared (at no charge) & saved Mr & Mrs Red Manc day!!!!

Dare I go on 2 the honeymoon nite nope I dare not. Have a superb honeymoon & I hope Mr Red Manc lets his misus read this thread!!!!

I think wes hould carry this thread on to cover the honeymoon, when they move to theyre house as man and wife, theyre first sprogs then countless other ones, then their grandkids and retirement, until they both go on to the other place !! :S

Day after the weddin Mr & Mrs Red Manc woke up in their honeymoon suite, the birds were singin, the sun was shinnin & Mrs Red Manc had organised a l8 check out so that they cud watch the footy!!!

L8r in the day they checked out & went home, once back Mr Red Manc went straight 2 his computer 2 log on2 his fav site & catch up with the latest goss, leavin Mrs Red 2 open the pressies.........

.....Mrs Red discovered theyd recieved 12 toasters, 4 sets of matching his and her towels, a salt and pepper pot, some crystal egg timers, 57 sets of pillowcases, a single duvet cover (?), 3 sets of cutlery, a set of knives and a very suspicious shaped box with lots of fluid coming out of it....??? So Mrs Red thought shed let Mr Red open it, so during half time Mr Red very cautiously opened the box only to discover inside.....

.........a vinyl cleanin set, but the bottle of fluid had burst hence y is was leakin fluid. Mind u Red Manc didn't mind he thought it was the best pressie of the lot!!

"I'm gonna get writers cramp with all those thank u letters 2 write!" Said Mrs Red Manc

"Don't worry babes we'll sort em out when we get back off r jollies" Said Mr Red Manc.

They spent the rest of the day jus chillin as they were all packed & ready 2 leave bright & early the next mornin. Red Manc popped on the board 4 a bit & then they had an early nite, they set the alarm clock 2 they wud get up in time 2 get 2 the airport........
