Bear in mind that it's a dog eat dog world & you'll more likely than not be forced to suck the cock of the people who have got the largest number of files shared to get a sniff at being allowed on their download list....

That's why I absolutely love being a vinyl purist... no ass-kissing from me to any fookin ego-centric cock who 'owns' 15'000 tunes..... no mate you don't 'own' them... they're mp3s.... stop being so fookin precious & get a fookin life. & some decks... and some vinyl... and some mates :D

Sorry but there are some TOTAL cocks on slsk....

/edit... sorry - that should be..

self-satisfied, small-minded, hugely egotistical, condescending elitist TOTAL cocks on slsk

:D

/edit again

forgot arrogant....

yes... there are a few people on slsk I would never tire of punching repeatedly in the face

Well i use soulseek :p But you can't suck my cock as i am a ladeeee :D I collect vinyl & have turntables. & i also have alot of files on soulseek. But it not make me a bad person. I keep myself to myself, only bother with peeps who i want to bother with. There is some idiots on soulseek,I agree when you say, about "TOP DOGS" well some peeps think so. I share to user list, but i state in my user info for peeps to ask me to be put on my user list. As if you not share to user list, probs have upload queues of around 1,000. & is impossible for people who download off you to get files. I don't mind to share my files. & yes i agree when you say buy the music!! Support it!!!
Anyone want to be added to my list is welcome, just message me, my username is Elle35. For me is not quantity, is quality.

I use it quite a lot mainly to get tracks I already have on vinyl in digital format- it just saves time.
Username= Darkbreaks. I will go back through & add people from this thread to my user list.
Cheers

It used to be really easy to find almost any mp3 I wanted online from various sources - until the big crackdown on mp3 sharing. Those were the days.

I lost thousands of mp3's in the great hard drive crash of 2004 and had to start again from scratch:cry: It's amazingly difficult to find a lot of the rarer stuff I lost and i've forgotten the names of most of the best tracks now:| But if people don't share then some of those tracks might be lost for good and a lot of us lose out.

I don't mind the fact that far more people are downloading from me than i'm downloading, it's a small price to pay for having access to a great tune and enables others to hear the tunes that they want off me:thumbsup:

I've noticed that some people download a lot from me though yet their shared files never seem to increase, so they're hoarding files too:naughty:

It's just a model of human nature really, there's those that just take without ever giving back and on the other end of the scale, those that are happy to share their files without exepcting anything back:king:

In the right-hand user window, right-click on the word user, or around there & it'll give you the option of adding a member to your list.
