thanks again to those that have replyed to date , all your words and comments mean a lot to me . . . :) :) will see you all ( or many of you anyway ) for one last big blowout this saturday . . . . and hopefully will see many of you around after that from time to time . . :) :thumbsup:

Ahhh, bless you!!!, I decided against as i know how you feel about me. So i thought you wouldnt give a damm what i said anyway...But.........what i was gonna say was, I feel for you lots great shame but its only a break isnt it! and if you ever wanna come party with us guys you are more than welcome....And i mean that...Im not a total tosser like you may think you know haha :cool:

I really meant what i said Ben, Its bad for the oldskool scene as a whole. As their is only a handfull of these nights left, GT been one of them.

Think you've done the best thing for the moment.
Went to quite a few nights at Morley and Huddersfield and both were great clubs with none to very few pissed up wankers. Both had a great atmosphere and you always felt safe.
Both Afterdark and Beyond Beach felt like "Oldskool Clubs".
The Kube, however, felt like "a club playing some oldskool tunes" to a large proportion of pissheads who had come to fight/try and get a shag/ get as pissed as possible or just try and look "hard" lol.

You know the ingredients for a top night and once you find the right club you'll be sorted :thumbsup:

Must have been a gutting decision to stop the Good Times nights Ben.

Probably one of the hardest choices you have ever had to make.

It's gutting for the scene as just lately a lot of Old Skool nights seem to be finishing which at the end of the day is a real shame.

However even though I have never attended your nights :$ , which to be honest i'm really gutted about. I believe you have your head screwed on right and you still have the vision of these nights coming back even bigger and better than before, so you deserve all the respect everyone on here gives you.

You sound like a top bloke and I hope I have the pleasure of meeting you when you return with your club nights in 2006

It sounds like the new good times will be even better than the last one to me. I only ever went to the night whilst it was at Rythyms in Indigo and i thought it was fantastic!! :thumbsup: I've heard mixed reviews since it moved very similar to what you said ben but i wish i'd have come to it now to see for myself. as i said at the top though the new ideas sound awesome so have some well earned time off and let's see it back and better than ever next year

Although its a difficult one, think you've definitely made the right decision.

Totally agree with what Spiely said in his post.

Hope everyone gave it a good send off last night & that It'll be back to its best in 2006.

i havent been to goodtimes but ive seen and heard just what a quality night it is, after reading the reviews on here and mates that i know who have gone!
hopefully i can get my ass to goodtimes when it returns in 2006!
Have a well deserved break m8! and dont forget to keep pumping out those mixes on here in the mixes section! :thumbsup: :D :thumbsup:
