Some made up number???? that was the barcode on the back of the sleeve.
Are you sure - the number you gave me was "999204728364" - that's not the barcode on KLF008R. Or are we just getting a bit too geeky here?

Thats the only barcode on the back of the cover.White sticker
"KLF Last Train to ....RMX"
Its a barcode like the ones that get scanned for prices.

False bidding

Without wanting to start owt, I reckon the seller V.D.R off here has a fake bidder in 'clair.vinyl'. Look how the bid was retracted on this one when it looked like the bids had stopped. :S

Clair.vinyl bids on all his rare stuff but never seems to win it. Take a look at these :-

Surely the best thing to do is not bid on something until nearer the end of the auction - stops these bidding wars that happen with 8 days to go AND potential bogus bidders.

OR bid the maximum amount you wanted to pay in the first place.

If someone bids more than you at any point, either way your not disappointed...

In fact, the best thing to do is shop around. With 3 copies of Alpha Dy and 3 copies of Techno Age going on Gemm for buttons recently, why pay top dollar on ebay? A lot of sellers on there are too wise to the fact that they'll get maximum £ notes for their effort, so why bid just to get ripped off?

Many, many sought after tunes turn up all over the place on or off the net all the time. If you want a tune for the right price it'll turn up...

I'm sure people that have been outbid in the past on your auctions by you & Claire may think differently...

I think the peeps point is that IF, and I stress, IF claire is a fake bidder, then she's bumping up the prices and making the genuine bidders pay more than they need to. Sure if they want a record that bad then they're gonna pay whatever, but it wouldn't be fair to force them to pay more than they need.

Thieves, cheats and buyers

:fekked:
There is no justifying bidding on your own auctions...
at least we know who to watch out for in the future...
