I used to play a tiny club down here (Tapas) in '89 that was full of Scousers and I would have to play at least one DB track (pref RGK) amongst all the house (many the same as mentioned above) and also the same crowd demanded The Whole Of The Moon - which I had to go out and buy blind from John Menzies on 7"

I would say that TWOTM in that club was the biggest guarenteed floorfiller I have ever had in my DJing career

TWOTM is obviously now touted as a Balearic classic - but I had never heard of it at the time, and it was only the Liverpudlians who knew (and loved) it - I wouldn't have dreamed of playing it anywhere else

Would this have been 'cos of Carroll and The State - and did Proctor bring it down to London?

Terry Farley would play it at The Future in London,round about the same time it was played in The State...
