I remember the program though at that point no promoters wanted to speak with the media because they presented us in a bad light. I was actually at the riot where the vans were turned upside down and set on fire. I think it was a Phantasy party, i still got the flyer. The police tried to storm a large group heading for the party but came unstuck when non-one ran away from them. Usually everyone would run but not on this night. To be honest the riot didn't help our cause at all. Splashed across the nations front pages it scared the public into beleiving everything they were being told. Which lead to the public granting a free licence to do whatever they felt apprioate to stop the parties. Which in simple terms means they turned their backs on us. This is when things got out of hand as the heavy handed riot squads went all out to stop us.

cheers buddy the pirates played a major in deliverence of party related information, especially after the riots etc. The police thought they'd gained control by beating the crap out of us when actually they did us a favour and made us think bigger and smarter. March 1989 is when the pirates came into the picture as before that we didn't need them.
I first met Everson standing outside Heaven's in 1988 handing out
