Though 91 was the year it blew up I voted for 89 loads of speed and acid  tunes like Unique 3 The Theme Rhythim is Rhythim Strings of Life
anything by 808 State

hearing stuff like that and it only being a select group into it at the time made it special

Mine was 1993 simply as it was my 1st year in my raving career. Attending the likes of Rezerection, Doncaster Warehouse

My 1st real night was Sasha @ The Arena Nov 1992 I was 16 jumped on the 21 bus, on my own with my substances and fake ID and hoped somebody would be there that I knew for a lift home ha ha Sure enough there was and it was a fantastic night

Was a top night Ste! I was there myself. I uploaded the mix from the night on here. Sadly i lost all my mixes from my computer but I'm sure someone would be able to help you out if you wanted to hear it again. Ed

Ive got it buddy If you want me to upload it.

I mind Sasha being on upstairs and his set finished and almost immediately the place emptied, well to down stairs where the man like kicked the shit out of the place once more :)

The odd thing about the night was I said to a mate that didn't come :naughty: that I had a feeling Sasha was going to play " M People - How Can I Love You More " even though I had only ever heard it on a Michael Kilkie tape from 1991, image when he dropped it I was extremely shocked but continued to running man dance on the wee podium things upstairs :)

Thanks Ste! That would be very much appreciated fella. Was one of the best mixed tapes i had heard around 1992, all really good tunes on it. was a lock out that night, was the same every time Sasha played at the Arena. The promoters never used to advertise him as playing, and just leak it out a few days before. They generally still turned a few hundred away even then. Yeah you're right about upstairs, once that finished everyone would go back downstairs to the flying hosted room, cos that used to stay open a bit longer, but i always spent the majority of my time in the blue n blue room. A cracking thread to read to ease me into the week!

Tunes tunes & more tunes, 91/92/93. Really weird hangin' around with DJ's, allsorts of tunes coming from all directions.

House/D&B/Techno/Trip Hop the lot came flooding my way, just went from one house to another, coffee and a smoke, went on for years.

93 perhaps my favourite year for clubbing, fcuk'd all the way!!!

91-96 were quality years, met mrs C in 98, I had calmed down a hell of a lot by then, took Mrs C to Aya Napa in '98 and to Ibiza in '00. Probably the last time I went to an all nighter.

Still loving the tunes, still keep in touch with the lads we went out with. Re-living the memories and still listening to the tunes & educating me kids.

Me daughters favourite instrument is the piano, bring out the tunes Dad!
