What year did the bowlers shut?

I was there till about 12:30 am then had to get over to Manchester Airport to get a flight to Ibiza!!! Was at Space by Sunday lunchtime!!!

Well badly miss Bowlers though - it was in a league of its own!

Even though Bowlers shut at 2am most people went to sale water park or rivington services and carried on there till 5 or 6am those were the days

Or monroes you just cannot beat dancing till 9 am

Does anybody remember when some scally let that tear gas cannister off
the next week rivington was blocked off to all traffic

i remember sue,from bury way?
bob,fookin hell,bob the boy,he was like a dad to me in bowlers,realy looked after me for years in that place,a m8 used to work for him.

Yes cameras wernt allowed but crazy sue this mad speed freak late 30s always had a green work mans top on and white cap or hat..Used to smuggle one in down her kecks..lol..she took a few of us lot in there...will get on for ya all..You may have come a cross sue..pple thought she was a grass..she wern't she was just a mad speed freak lol

funnily enough saw Sue in Asda a couple of weeks ago

bowlers was the place to go for me,used to set off from carlisle at 3ish into the car park for 5ish thats when it all started-immense place,sorely missed,never forgotten.
