Skippy - surely one of your rarest records is KLF - Love Trance

I've got 2 copies of 45 King - 900 Number on dance trax, I've also got 2 copies of Peace & Harmony with the original Whiney samples. I've got 4 copies of Wareband - 1 dutch, 1 german, 1 italian and 1 US - The US 89 release is the rarest with the acappella on it.

As for rare old skool tunes I've got, 3 that spring to mind that go beyond your usual Hard To Find "We Want" for rareness are:

Freaky Dreamer - Freaky Dreamer (original promo 3 mixes never released)

Kamikaze One 85 Featuring The Beatles - Because / Yesterday (picture cover promo - no real suprise that it never got released as it just completely lifts the Beatles)

Laura Palmer feat Twin Peaks Killer - In The Mix (not too sure if this one's that rare or if people just don't want to sell their copies - IMO it's the best piano tune ever written)

jonno - u attendin tomm kidda long time no see

dj xtc is on - yeah totally agree - laura palmer - what a tune

do ya know anythin about this brass disk piano mix - it starts of with accapella then like the piano off band of gypsies similar) not exact comes in then when the sexy dancer comes of with the beat of the original then drops into the piano agin ( with get the party pumpin over piano repeated - man i need this tune again
its awsome

Erm!

I would have to say that my most rarest records are:

1. Rapers Delight, SugarHill gang. (Orignal)
2. For the love of a princes, Sakin & friends (Addictive rec)
(Only 500 copies ever made)
3. Slam Jam, Fred and ginger (I don't know how many copies were made but it is only printed on one side, DJ promo)
4. A.S.H.A, JJ Tribune (Orignal and Rob Tissera mix)
5. Seduction (Iam not sure what label it is on because I went to GT last night and Iam on someone elses computer. What I do remember is that it is on blue vynal and there was only 250 copies ever made)

I would like to add to this list one or two more but I just can't remeber things right now, I shall return. Noods

i'd just finished typing a ridiculously sized list
and my connection has gone down and i lost my typing $$bastard$$

the rareist one i found was

candi staton 'you got the love'
(The love Bootleg')
produced by DJ Eren himself (the ressie at sunday club 'solaris' in 1989)

the E's love side
kariya 'let me love you for tonight' v's nicole 'rock the house'
frankie knuckles 'tears' accapella v's Kariya 'let me love you for tonight'
seduction 'your my one and only true love' (30 secs sample)

the m's rock side
source feat candi staton (erens bootleg mix
jason load 'mainline' (acca) v's ?

reportedly only 1000 copies pressed up

and i only paid 25pence for it

Yeah, Im known to spin the "Old Ones and Two's". Infact, back in about 1994 I regarded myself quite good and I reckon I could have held my own against the Angels DJ's. Although it did take me a while to get a set I was happy with when it came to Old Skool 'cos its quite hard to mix seamlessly really innit?. Only played out at mates's 21'st's and m8's Weddings etc.....
Now, is a different story........having had more commitments at work, spending most spare time on my keyboards and PC, my decks have been lonely for some time - only playing one at a time whilst Im on the PC!. Lost the plot a bit really at mixin'.

Now I dont wanna hear any boo's or jeers, but I mostly buy/collect/mix when I get chance Old Skool Piano/Italian choones and Epichouse (uplifting and lushious progressive house not the boring type) verging on trance (not too cheesey).

Old Skool Eg: Analysis - Euphoria, SSR 'To Be House', Nexus21, Isotonic, Together HardcoreUproar, Bassheads, Piere Feroldi, DjH and bleep stuff like LFO-LFO and ManMachine-Dekinimi etc.
Progressive Eg: SundayClub -Paladian Dawn, stuff on Hope Records, Red Parrot records, Fire records and Renaisance etc, right through to like ManWithNoName - SugarRush (Tune!).

Ive played/mixed it all, hardcore, happyhardcore, Italian, house etc etc!.

Bet you wished u never asked now arent you?!!;)

What's your groove thang?

Sirius.
