Just out of interest - if you 'lose' a kid in a country say usa, australia, portugal - do you still need a visa stay? And if you start a 'charity' from that country - do you pay tax?

Im sure that in the USA they would be right twats because of the way they are.

I am married to a Yank have 3 kids born in the USA and they still wanted me out, all because I got caught with 2grms of speed when I was 17, 16 years ago

Fuck they would probably charge you for an extended Visa for the missing child

What I can get my head round is in the aftermath of their precious little girl being snatched/murdered whatever....
They proceed to bugger off to every neighbouring country of Portugal's and leave their to 2 precious baby twins with other people (family i suppose but still)

I haven't got kids, but i know for a fact if i ever had one so cruely taken from me i'd never leave my babies anywhere again, no matter who I was leaving them with.....

I'm sure they probably think they are safe being left other people, while they go off to see the Pope.... :S

But haven't they made the mistake of leaving their children once already, with horrific consequences!!!

Hmmm, it's getting even more bizarre isn't it?

I as much as I have no respect whatsoever for the McCanns, I don't belive they killed Madeline. It would have been physically impossible for Karen McCann (is that the mum's name?) To kill her child, dispose of the body so meticulously that no trail was left and without any witnesses, including her husband and friends?!!

Now she had become a suspect, I wouldn't be suprised if there was something in Brock Lander's conspiricy theories. But maybe this isn't about money! I mean it seems quite apparent that they arent the worlds best parents. Maybe they just can't handle having 3 kids! So here's my own conspiricy theory....an illlegal adoption. They've could have sold Madeline or given her away and given her a new identity (new look, new birth cetificate, passport etc..).
Just giving the kid up for adoption the conventional way would cause them far too much shame and possible exclusion from their work and social communities. So an abduction abroard in laid back Algarve would have been the perfect answer....

Or maybe I've got an overactive imagination and watch too much television. They need Columbo on the case, i tell ya...he solves any crime lol

I have always had doubt's as to whether they were involved.

However the chain of events would be difficult to organise.

On the half hour check prior to Kate MaCaan checking the kids, a non family member did the check and all was well (or was it?). Kate then did her check half an hour later. In that time if she had accidentally or otherwise, killed Maddie, she would then have had to hide the body, before rushing back to raise the alarm. This immediately sparked a massive search. Following that if either of them had tried to move the body, they would have had to do so with every camera in Portugal on them. . . very risky.

One angle could be that the non Family member who checked maddie could be also involved??? She could have accidentally killed maddie and told them all was well when she returned to the restaurent, or she could be helping cover it up with the MaCaan's?

Highly unlikely, but just a thought. It would have been near impossible for Kate MaCaan to have successfully hid a body in the short time frame and subsequently move the body in that hire car 25 days later.

Just on the news that there is a 99% match of Madelines DNA suggesting that it hasn't been transfered from another source but rather the body had been in the hire car 5 weeks after her disapaerance

Apparently thats why the police have been so adament in their questioning.......ooerr!!!
