This is a genuine breakfast from a cafe in Great Yarmouth that my mate told me about. Its called the "Kids breakfast" because it weighs 10 pounds!! It costs 15 quid and If you eat it within 60 minutes you get it for free.....no one has ever finished it!!

where ever i lay my hat ( straw one )
Seems to be regional differences when it comes to a cooked breakfast as i've had the odd strange (to me) English breakfast in recent weeks. One came with potato wedges and the other with onion rings:crazy:

For me a full English breakfast should be:

Bacon
Sausage
Egg
mushrooms
beans
tomatoes
black pudding (optional)

With toast and marmalade to finish with.

What's the regional cooked breakfast in you area, or what's your perfect cooked breakfast, or strangest?

pint of jizz , good enough for marc almond ;)

I discovered a new brekkie last year which I named the Mexican breakfast as they probably do this or something very similar.
In summer I got up one morning and we had no sausage or bacon or bread, not a good start.
So I gathered up what we did have in the kitchen and knocked this little beauty up!
If you like mexican or spicy food this ones for you :)

I fried up some chorizo, spring onions, mushrooms and garlic and a few de seeded chillies.
Take out the pan and make a basic cheese omlette in the oil and juice from the chorizo etc.
Take this out the pan then drop in tortilla to warm for a minute or two then add half the omlette and half the other fillings, fold over the tortilla and flip it over to toast the other side slightly.
Do the same again with the remaining ingredients and another tortilla and ARRIBA!

The Mexican Breakfast for two:mexican::D

It's 'ad a remix I'm tellin' ya!

Made this again this morning but with slightly different ingredients and it was even better :D

Fried up some chorizo, mattessons sausage, onions, peppers and garlic then added some ketchup, chilli & paprika to the pan to make a sticky sauce.

Instead of an omlette I made a spiced scrambled egg and cheese.
Was going to stack it on these split round toasted pittas Kingsmill 5050 Pitta Pockets 8Pk - Groceries - Tesco Groceries

but they had gone off :( but they were just as good on soft teacakes from greggs

finish off with loads of ground pepper and some parsley, lush!

anyone find that a fry up is rough on the come down, especially fried eggs???? the rest is do-able but eggs knock me for 6 after a sesh unless poached/scrambled. I also think fried egg and beans are gross together on the same plate, as well as ketchup with any of the usual suspects of a fry up :S

I occasionally find that my body rejects anything but alcohol on the come down;)

Poached eggs on toast with spicy tom sauce on is good day after Ive drank myself into oblivion previously and had some kip. Might be able to manage a bag of crisps on the day of the sesh if im lucky:thumbsup:

That reminds me Bod...

One of the best breakies i've ever had was at a Mexican food stall at Moors Festival and it was all because they'd run out of tradition buns/baps/teacakes/balmcakes (or whatever you call them in your areas :p )

Instead they made us breakfast wraps using tortillas and they were de-lish:thumbsup:
