These are some of the finest mixes you'll hear anywhere.
Paul Wain was an absolutely stunning DJ. It's no wonder Venus in Nottingham was the top club in the UK in 1992.
1992 - Perhaps the best year for music ever.
Lots of mixes from 91 are excellent too. After 94, the music scene changed, and was not so good (again in my opinion.)
The Rhumba was the best club on the planet. Bar none.

I listened to the James mix on Soundcloud, as he published it to the Rhumba Facebook page before the links on rrrCloud were published. Since James said on the Facebook page that the soundcloud link was the set that he played at the Rhumba, I assumed wrongly that this would be the actual, physical set.
I've updated the listing now to reflect the set from the actual night (from File Factory.)
Most of it is the same, but the actual Rhumba set was shorter by a few songs -- and some of the order was slightly different. Thanks very much for your help here; it is much appreciated.

Also, I noticed that you don't have 23.08.91 on the list. Rhumbateer has a copy of it (pretty sure that he had the original), you could get it from him (or Brady.) That's the one with Zammo shouting over SLD, "there's still another hour and a half to go etc, Rhumba Club." The one with Martin Lever and Jacqui Morrison etc.

I suspect that some of my old friends may have more tapes that you're looking for. Not spoken to them in about 14 years; (I'm not in contact with them but their facebook links are below.) One of them was a DJ, and used to collect the Rhumba tapes. I suspect that he went to the ice factory a lot, and will have a lot of the Rhumba tapes. Worth a shot? He may even have that Sasha / Digweed tape...

i.e. list of club nights with Flyers, with linked drill down into tapes (so you can download the Mp3), and linked drill down into track listings. Perhaps using some kind of sharepoint website, or even on Facebook might suffice. It would be good to have it all in one place where everything existed. Just a thought, and stick a pin in it if it is irrelevant etc. (Don't want to butt in and tell you what to do though etc.)
