I would go 1210s all day long but that my preff...... Im not sure 100% about this, but I was told you can adjust the1210s pitch control from the inside, I'm trying to think who told me they had done theirs....

That used to happen with quite a few tapes, some printed text on the spine, others hand written, but with the same cover. I did ask about this back in the early 90s and the answer I got was this "it saves us time and money, why print more than you are probably going to sell on the first run...
