Well i had a top night, big thanks to tim for asking both myself and cano to play, shame there were a couple of problems at the beginning of the night but hey ho these things do happen from time to time! :D

Had a top laugh with everyone was good to see you all! :king:

I thought the atmosphere was good, no trouble from what i saw and everyone was having a good time. Nice one! :D

BBDD / Masters fo Old Skool

Yes I went to Masters of old skool last years was good m8. I didnt think there were any soldkool nights left in Manc. Me and me mate started going to Totally lost it then I saw people with masters of old skool t shirts on. Trouble is teh sound at Jabezaint great but i belivee tahts more to do with the uilding all tho at Totally Lost It they do have the volume too high.

Thing is ya can play both the cheese and the harder raindance used to when I live ddonw south and that was fucking A but then with it being an arches set upa s I remeber they ahd separte rooms /areas with different styles.

But you could do that at the box the area at the bootom of th stares has been used as a second arena many times.

But then ya can mix the bouncy teenie bopper Manc house into harder stuff an all and achieve quite a good result I rembere in me acid techno days fucking swing out sister being mixed in to soem fucking filthy techno in a grotty derelict office block off old street (the city).

Mike I used to play old skool at totally lost it upstairs when it was at the phoenix and played a nice mix of everything.
I have djed and put a night on at Jabez Clegg and its had a whole new sound system fitted. I had absolutely no problems with it what so ever. The only problem i had was the shit allan and heath mixer and the fact the decks are connected to the roof of the building and they wobble when your trying to mix.
That masters of old skool will be good this year, jays a good lad and puts a lot of effort into it.
As for the music, never had a bad night in there. Step back was ace, Rob Thurstons Love Decade and timeless was always good as well
