Well I played that so there was at least one Hac tune on Friday then....;)

Funnily enough I was thinking of you (in a manly musical sense obviously :| ) when I played Urban Nature - "Get On The Floor". I've only played that out once before at Hazy and not sure if it went that well, but when I dropped it on Friday there were a few people were like - "woarrrrrrgggggghhhh!" - I'd never heard it until I had access to some of the P&P sets so to me thats a Hac tune too, but a top top reaction for that one regardless...

Best reaction of the night tho for me was NWA - Express Yourself. Now if thats not another Hac tune then....HELLLLLLLLOOO

Agree tho that: Park + Mid 90's Garage = .... .....:naughty: ....:cops:

lol - "Get on the Floor" is a proper proper tune, took me a while to find out what that was, one of the first times I went to the Hac Park dropped it and the whole place erupted :fekked: :fekked: Keep it in the box mate if you do another ;)

As much as I respect him I could never get into those Saturdays he did, and he reverted to that style on New Years Day :( . Fortunately Pickering carried it on at Shine, and with Sasha guesting loads there was no need to go to Stoke anymore ;)

Jon Da Silva at the next one, Im deffo there, nice one Butty

Yep me too
Fekkin Bucket heads, Degrees of motion, Kim Simms, Shay Jones, Degrees of motion WTF  No need :naughty:

I can just about take the bucketheads, purely because its by Masters at Work. But certainly Parky playing all that mid 90's "Jeremy Healey" toss is unnaceptable for any sort of Hac night. Unless it specifically states........................"Hac reunion, before it shut"...........

Went to a few I have to say. By about 96 there was no difference between say, for example Healy/Alistair Whitehead/boy george etc etc. yawn

As I said previously Scott, the only tunes that were played that weren't Hac was when the lady wasn't present!!! Maybe it is a different Hacienda.....

Also another point at that time there were alot less records of that genre around about at that time...everybody played virtually the same tunes albeit different mixes..

Hi you two, only just seen this part of the thread and like some of the other people have said, it depends when you were there... Same as old skool means a very diff thing to diff people dpendant upon your age and your interpretation of it.

At the end of the day, I admitted I was only in there half an hour, I PERSONALLY didn't hear any Hac tunes IMO and quite frankly do not have to justify my responses to anyone!! ....... so ner!! :p

I will however be going to the next one and will give it another shot then.
