Is this just the best time of your life? Is it better than actually being in love? I have only ever done it the once, and i can't decide if it was really ace or really horrible. I remeber great rush's and surges of pleasure, but i also remeber feeling like i was on a rollorcoaster and about to be sick quite often too. All that bloody unceratinty, all that pining. I do miss it however, that butterfly feeling, i still get it from time to time- but not like i am going to pass out lol its so intense.

What do you reck, falling in love or being in love is the best?

:)

Either way its a rollercoaster I reckon. Its definitely rewarding and enrichens your life though. That's why we ca't get enough of love.

I think falling is best. Thrill of the chase, butterflies, excitment.....until it all goes pear shaped. :S

I guess staying in love is a different matter. But the falling is brilliant. Surrendering to another person beyond all rationality. Makes for some pretty strong and happy times :)

its the being in love with someone and knowing that they dont feel the same about you thats the real sickener:(
Ive only ever been totaly in love with someone once - and its the only time it ever felt 'real' - it hurt so much that in the end it felt like i was grieving?
is that weird or something. Its the only thing i can find to liken the feeling too.
:$
i know cos i been there and done that

being in love is wonderful - the butterflies and excitment when your with them - the feeling that you get in the pit of your stomache when they kiss you. i love that feeling. Just being close to that person makes everything seem great.

The early stages of that getting to know you bit.......the ups n downs...the sickness in the pit of your tummy....butterflies etc is the best youll get at that stage...but it also has its downfalls...it bcan bring out the worse in you.....the panic if he doesnt ring the pining and worrying....the insecurity :$

whereas.......once your settled and little more stable in a relationship..ie out of the falling bit into the fell :p the security side and caring natures show through........i like a bit of both tbh......love the excitement of a new relationship but also love the security of an existing relationship

i keep saying to dan its good to spend time apart cus you then stop taking each other for granted and actually have the time to miss each other.......its amazing how much of theat new relationship comes flooding back when youve had a bit of time apart :eyebrow:

oo yeah I can totally empathise with all that.

Shit when it ends isn't it? It actually does feel like something or somebody has died. Took me over a year to get over my ex.

But yeah, love is the greatest feeling in the world. Just a shame you cant get better than perfection....thats why the perfect feeling of love never lasts. The only way is down. :(

Spot on with all that Debs. Realising your insecurities is part of owning them and not being swayed by them, even when you feel them.

Space is so important too.

Love falling in love.
Hate falling out of love.
But I can honestly say I'm indifferent to being single or being in love. As I'm happy being either; whichever is right at the time, is right for me  As both states have different bonuses and restrictions.

aww Sam! Im wishing you luck. This might make you feel better.....

Once went on a date to the pics with a guy who I met online through a friend....*I was 15* :$ lol.....We hardly spoke to each other, it was the most awkward moment of my entire life, I thought he'd never wanna speak to me again because I had been silent the whole time, apart from 'Hi, you ok?'.

But! We fell in love! and were together 3 years on and off.....it ended last year but I still wouldn't give it back. So, even if your date goes shit, It may all turn out well. Plus you didn't meet him online which is a massive bonus! :p
