Circus Circus

Has to be Circus Circus in Banbridge Northern Ireland, just up the road from me :)

As DJ Welly put it....

An absolutely immense night at the infamous Circus Circus, Banbridge, N.I. Featured, myself DJ Welly alongside Robbie Nelson (Agnelli & Nelson) & Jacko (One of Northern Ireland's best DJ's).
With guest PA's from Felix and Hyper Go-Go, this night was one the best nights I have played at.

Due to being fairly new to the old skool scene i never really had the chance to go to the more obvious clubs like Life, Hac etc.

So mine would have to be Beyond beach babylon (goodtimes). Before i went i had heard good things about it but to see it for my self was fantastic. It had a real good atmosphere and that wasn't just down to drugs and music. The club had a lot to do with it.

I'll second that ZENZEN was best club over here, dont thin there's been anywhere like it since it got shut down, harmony nights @kellys portrush came a close second though.

Well mine has to be Life@Bowlers, wow, what a club & what a night, described by radio 1's pete tong as the best organised weekly event of it's size, starting at 3000 capacity evry week, then on the opening of more room's 4200 capacity, this was a way of life for many people, the club boasted a mailing list of 10,000 +...All this and more, and i was one of the lucky ones to play there LOL..... the many occasions i will never forget!!!

A few for me...
Occasions- Sheffield for the Bleep stuff on Saturday nights
Woosh- Nottingham University- no security+mad people= mad experience
Nelson Mandela building Sheffield/Sheffield City Hall ballroom- various raves there, ballroom had a wicked lay-out for events, but the authorities weren't happy with the raves

As Sweetsensation has said...
The Orbit, Morley (& wherever else it were)- great techno (& trance a few years back)

Best club I've been to in recent years for it's wicked design & music is Ostgut in Berlin. Loads of nice people & great techno.

Being born a few years to late to get into the clubs till about late'94, I can only imagine what it was like, but in my VERY limited experience it has to be the Angels in Burnley. Dark, sweaty and purely raw :). Dont go to many clubs these days due to one thing and another.......
