me and vickie have changed our minds
after the past few times i've been to manchester it has really put me off going out full stop tbh, and i've decided due to financial reasons to only go out and let my hair down once a month, so..
where do i go for my special one night a month....

I know wat you mean fella. I too have lost faith in manchester. Its only a matter of time before one of us gets caught up in it all again. Will be giving the place a wide burth. But still cant make this Hazy as i will be in York for a friends birthday. Was considering getting a train over after but it would be too late and too expensive. So hope ya all have a blinder. It will be great for you lot to know your not likely to see any major trouble while ya out.

BJ, it will be live when they are in Manchester. I saw them last year in stevenson square and god knows how many times at castlefield. I would be very suprised if they are not on this year. as for seeing them dj, I have seen them a few times at step back over the last couple of years so i know they are class. i suppose it's a case of them being on in the wrong place at the wrong time for me aqt the moment
i will keep you all informed about them being on live and I would hedge my bets about it being castlefield

Easy now with the slagging of Manchester, I know there's been trouble there, but in 14 years, I've only seen trouble 5 times, now that's not to say it doesn't happen less or more frequently, however, I could name Leeds as a bad spot when a mate and his dad got battered (mistaken identity) back in 92, but it could be an isolated incident.
There's trouble to a degree in ALL towns, it's just unfortunate that the eijits happened to be there at an OSA event.
I've been on nights out in Liverpool (just drinking in bars and chart-music clubs) and seen it kick off, but the bouncers were very sharp and carried the persons out (one at the feet, one at the head) and that was the end of it.
Sorry to go on, but when I see people saying "ahhh I'm done with Manchester" etc, it's a shame to let an extreme minority of fools spoil what can be a great place.

Bj it is not just in Manchester where they all act like idiots. when you go abroad it is by and large group's mancs who are the biggest dicks. There have been times when i have been away when i have been embarrassed to admit they i came from the same area as all the idiots that were fcuking about
