There's been a few times when I first thought I had, so had to readjusted my eyes by superfast blinking so it didn't have time to get me, but thankfully they were probably just shadows.......I hope:thumbsup:

I havnt personally but heres a storey my dad told me that did make me think.....

when i was born mum and dad bought two cottages down near witton park school in blackburn. They were old weavers cotages which they knocked through and made into one big house.

Me dad was a bit of a bugger and always had his mates round in the evening. One of his mates Chang was sat in the lounge one night and asked to go to the bathroom. A few minutes later and almighty crash bang whallop came from upstairs and my mum and dad shouted upstairs to Chang to see if he was ok. Chang suddelny appeared further down the downstairs corridor asking what in gods name that noise was. At this point they all looked puzzled as Chang was not upstairs and had not been the cause for the noise. My dad and Chang went up to investigate, at the end of the corridor upstairs was a vase that was sat on a little snug table against the wall was lying smashed on the floor. Phew.....they thought nothing of it and cleaned it up and came back into the lounge to chill.

Not ten minutes later another crash upstairs - this time everyone was in the lounge so immediately my dad and chang jumped up thinking someone was in the house..... they rushed upstairs and another vase in the opposite corner had perished. But this vase had been placed on a table no where near where it had smashed :| This caused a little concern and mum started to freak out by all accounts. My dad and chang did a little investigating and started tapping walls to realise that one of the upstairs corridors was shorter than the one downstairs and seemed to have been particioned off at some point. The could hear noises like a small tapping behind the wall but put it down to the possibility of there being a rodent or bird somehow trapped in there or got in somehow.

No explanation for it so went downstairs again only to be faced with the tapping getting louder....i think dad at this point thought about getting someone in to have a look but not right then. They ignored it and went back into the lounge. mum was sat on the sofa with me by her side in a moses cradle and dad and chang sat on the armchairs.....when all of a sudden the full length mirror hung on the wall came flying off, shot across the other side of the room and smashed into little pieces not too far away from where my cradle was. This was it for my mum she picked me up ran out of the house and never went back again. My dad told me this storey many times when i was younger and i always thought he was winding me up, when i met my mum again at the age of 18 i asked her about this and she confrmed everything he had said word for word (bearing in mind they had no contact with each other for over 15 yrs) kind if made me think :|

Life is eternal, because energy is eternal. U die, U get buried, U rot, U fertilise the ground. Things feed off you & other things feed off them. There you go.

Ah poltergeists....

Shit, how could I forget:condom: I have been in the company of a poltergeist(s) and nobody can convince me otherwise.

When I was 17 or 18, I was working in a church in West Leigh. I was a trainee pipe organ builder at the time and it must have been late autumn/early winter as it was pitch black in the church and I was sat on the bench at the organ, cleaning the keys with just a solitary light shining in the area.

Everything had been stripped out of the organ and there was tonnes of pipes, soundboxes, wooden panels etc all stacked neatly at the back of the church, which was dark. I was in the church on my own and the doors were locked.

After sitting there a while, I heard an almighty succession of crashes and things smashing at the back of the church and I jumped out of my skin onto my feet and hesitantly switch the lights on to the back. Before slowly making my way to the back of the church to see what had caused it. I looked around and everything seemed to be placed exactly where i'd left it and I couldn't believe it, nothing had fallen over.

After a while I composed myself and made my way back to the keyboard, leaving the lights on and got back to cleaning the keys. After a while I thought i'd better switch the lights off at the back again to save the church money on it's electricity bill and carried on as before.

A few minutes later I heard the sound of everything crashing around at the back of the church again and now completely shitting myself I legged it to the door, unlocked it, and stood outside looking at the door wondering whether to risk locking it before fecking off home.

So I definitely believe in poltergeists:thumbsup:

Although some things do make you think it would take some freakish occurance to turn me into a beleiver tbh..... mind you i freak out at anything... cant watch horrors for having an overactive imagination. Things flinging themselves across the room could i guess be down to natural magnatism in the earth or atmosphere... i know for one we as humans are full of static electricity...i can get bolts off walking up and down stairs or being near cars or anything. This might explain why sometime lights flicker when i get angry and stressed?

I used to work at Burtons in Northwich years ago and one night to impress the boss i stayed late to do some paperwork (sounds like the begining of a nuddy magazine story !)

Anyway the shop was built on salt mines and made pretty much out of wood- it was a pretty spooky place

I was upstairs in the office when i started to hear (and i still think this to this day) footsteps walking up the stairs (which were wooden and hollow) coming up the stairs to the office door

When i looked up at the time that the footsteps ended and someone would be coming into the office there was a cold breeze hit my face that came form the direction of the door and no one there

I shit it !

I left straight away and never stayed on my own again

Thats the only paranormal expierence i have had thank heavens and i dont want any more
