Its okay. Its a shame it was caned to death in 94.

I got one of the 92 white labels, and for the time it was pretty good. Thats what was around at that time, so its kind of an "era" tune in that strange Scottish way.

Its bit like the Stepping Out label tunes, MRX, A-Tension, Luxor, Tom Wilson Bounce Your Body......they didnt "fit in" anywhere with the other stuff....they werent hardcore, werent italian, werent house..... and because of that, despite being good at the time, they havent aged very well. Nobody plays them.

I might dig out the original now and have a listen.

I liked it, never bought one - but it always had to be the very first white label version as the one they re-did was crap.

In the same way when Ultracynic re-did theirs it was crap and lost the original feel (same as Manic - Coming Hardcore - the newer version of that was wank)

In a club when they dropped the intro to N Trance, it always got top reactions and you can't take that away from it even if you don't like the tune nowadays!

Monty, stop banging on about your hate for house tunes - this isn't even a house tune :axe:

:p

I'd still crawl over broken glass to nail that Kelly Llorena - although has to be said she's got too much slap on in some pics for my liking... she doesn't need it as she's naturally beautiful... :gigolo: & if Rik Jones is reading this can he please pass on my details via AATW as I'd happily give her the best 13 seconds of her life

Did you get this release before it was signed to AATW ? Would love to hear the pre-AATW mixes :)

soz mate it's the '93 12" i've got, not the pwl. also got the later '94 remixes.

This was a great thread mate. It's certainly brought out a lot of feelings on it way or the other lol.
commercial sounding? cheesy? uncool? doesn't bother me. A tunes a tune. I've seen the happiness this track brings on the dancefloor. I love that loved up atmosphere when no one gives a hoot and they all just wanna party and have fun.
