not heard it for years and thought when i listened agian i would be suprised that i never really noticed its qualitys back in the day  but after listening again i have to say its such a big pile its hurting my Japanese flag just thinking about it :moonie:

that said i have stood on balconys in clubs watching the dancefloor go mental to this track in the past and it always put a big smile on my face :D just remembering how it used to be when rock to the beat hitman mix used to be dropped in a warehouse phones: so it must have been a huge tune for many people, just not for me :naughty:

upgraded to Didsbury!
It seemed to work well in 94-96 when i frequented all the shite clubs that all under 18s went to like Cocos in Stockport, Discoteque Royals, Piccadilly 21s..etc...

But after that scene I cringed if I heard it in a REAL club lol...

It was ok though I suppose, and it serves it's place as a party tune:rotate:

As with most I like the intro and used to dance to it all years ago, but its a bit cheesy init. Everyones like a bit of cheese even the most coolest music aficionados. Not nob cheese mind thats clearly not acceptable yet I suppose you could like it but that would be a bit alarming:S

Inspired by Ms Amy Mars current FB status (she's obviously in the 'love men' stage of her ongoing hate men/love men/hate men/love men thang)

YouTube - N-Trance - Set You Free (1993)

Like it or loath it ?

Deffo a marmite tune I reck... I'd be surprised if there's any ambivalence or fence-sitting on this fucker (even from Mr Diplomacy himself, Radish).

Personally I love it :D I shouldn't I know but I do... the beats are fierce & ace, the piano shamelessy euphoric, the synth riffs cheesey as fuck & the atmospheric intro / breakdown thunder-tastic... the vocals are ACE & best of all I had the raging fuckin horn for the lead vocalist summat chronic back in the day...

Cast your votes !

I fucking love it when an old wise heard whose tune knowledge is more vast than the Aussie Outback and yet has to admit on liking a tune like this.

The funniest part is i totally agree, Im a total cheese head, i love it, if it was played out at an IMH or OSA doo id go bonkers. Like you said Shooms there is just some cheese that is ace, and this is deff up there.

Awesome Piano, Vocals (And thats not like me to say that), Synths etc etc

Top Top Tune for me, especially as my mates are not into old skool but when this is on they have to bounce around and enjoy it!

 from me!

I stand by my original post. This is total fucking gash, and a stinker of monumental proportions.

And this from a man who still likes Rozalla - Everybody's free, Grace - Not over yet and that remix of livin joy dreamer (was it BT?). I relish pop and a bit of cheese, but I HATE this!

i don't get all the negativity. okay so it's not the best piece of music out there and its a bit on the cheesy side. i still get a bit of rush when i hear it prob the ghosts of the past hittin me. it's not just about the music for me but the memories and experiences connected with it

if it gets people luved up makes them feel good and wanna jump about like dafties then i say alls well and good

call me whacky but as i recall
it was all about having fun and letting yourself go
not giving a toss what anyone thinks
losing yourself in and out of the music

Not everyone is born with a sliver spoon the greatest music comes from poor people (working class) & is copied by plastic fakers!

There is music lovers that love music for music & do great wonderful things with music! there is so called music lovers that just talk about music & bore us to death of how little they know about music!

Working class music Electro/Hip Hop/Hardcore/Jungle/Disco/Soul/Funk/Rock etc is copied by so called music lovers (silver spooners) for so called music lovers (the snobs of music) but they will never have that deep raw feeling of where it all comes from!

You listen to an emulation of what we LOVE!

You can spot the spoilt ones a mile off!
