I'd have to kind of agree on your reason there for why you chose your year. Mine was 96 cause thats when I really got into MCing!!

How are you by the way ??? Top night at Pheonix, you played a quality set, just one classic after another. I could hardley contain myself!!!! xx

Back oop north!
www.
I voted for 92. I started going out in 90 and loved all the 90/91 party prescriptions but it was beginning of 92 when I started going to Bowlers
(just before their 1st birthday) and met some of the best friends of my life. :D:D:D:D

Hmmm tis a toughie to choose just one year can't do it ! gotta be from 90 to 93 my favourite years. Missed all the illegal warehouse ones (bet they were bloody great!)

First time I ever tried to get in a club we were in Blackpool in the queue for Sequins bright n early about 7, right at the front got pushed and shoved ended up halfway down the queue, only 16 just left school and totally trollied. The queue just got bigger and bigger and before we knew it the bouncers said "no more it's full!!!!!!" absolutely gutted to buggery just me and 1 other friend hadn't managed to get in we ended up back at our b n b listening to the 1 tape we had with us over n over whilst drowning our sorrows with buckets lol. Then the next week it was the pleasuredome in farnworth Dennis n I had a great night that night :D

We did have some great clubs back then there was always your old faithful and always plenty of other great ones to choose from never a dull weekend :D

Nights out wern't cheap though then were they eh ! :) £1.50 now compared to £15 then eeeeee we were robbed back then lol

LOL yeah but in those days it was about £1.50 to get in a club .... now it's £15 ;)

Not true that really tho, I was only sayin the other day that its weird that club entry aint really changed that much from the early 90's.

It was always £5-10 to get in most gaffs even then, and its much the same now 15 years later, wish cigs & pints were near enough the same price they was 15 years ago.

I'd pay £15 for a phase 4 remember them ? they were me faves ! :D

Appeared for 1 week only and sent me to another universe in terms of how high and exstatic they sent me and my mates. Jaffa's - the closest that i've ever been to utopia and I don't know what was in them (they came in an orange capsual) but........."imagine your best orgasm and multiply it by a hundred and you wouldn't even come close"  :)

In a pineapple under the sea!!!!!
My best clubbing year was 1991, it was the year it all started for me and was my introduction to Angels in Burnley. phones: phones: phones: phones:

This year changed my life and I'm ever grateful to my old mate Damo for blagging me to go.

There have been some very good years for me:

92 Raves, Big Raves, one hell of an expeirence :fekked: :fekked: :fekked:

94/95 Introduced to loads of clubs in the N.W - Park Hall, The Venue, The Mill, Kinetic, Bowlers, Cream etc etc  :fekked:

97 All went a bit Hardcore for me, Hardcore Heaven, Helter Skelter etc :fekked: :fekked: :fekked:

98 Back to going to Zone, Angels etc started Dj'in at Zone :fekked: :fekked: :fekked:

90 / 91 for me its when doves just came out :D
made loads of friends back then that i still keep in contact with
dancing all nite at raves outside belfast in the mountain :D :D
nicked generators pumping out tunes to people dancing there asses off all nite and following day :fekked: :fekked:

then again in 2004 when i discovered Hazydayz fer bit to travel but well worth each trip across :D :p

wish Belfast had some decent oldskool nites like across the water :( :(

I went for 94 as well, although I can't really separate 92-95, they were all brilliant. There was still enough of the Summer of love around in the house clubs, the pills were lovey not sledgey and the music had the funk. Can't believe I'm 10 years past my peak, I still listen to my old mix tapes from that era :fekked: :king:
