Has to be 91. Got a LOT of love for that year.

Lots of memories mostly falling of things into things and talking lot an lots of of shite. But i must admit the fashion sense ALL WRONG. But i will all ways have a soft spot for paisley lol.

1995 comes second first visit to ibiza.

Voted for 1995 as I was the ripe old age of 17 and took more drugs than my daughter can count!! Went to every rave I could get to at this age, and bloody loved it!!

Bollox showing my age now as it was nearly 10 yrs ago :$

Right then,
For me its gotta be 1989 to 1997
Sorry i cant choose just 1 year although the early ones (89-91)
were absolutely mental!
My life solely consisted of going out,getting mashed,going to sleep,getting up,buying choons,going out,getting mashed,going to sleep etc
Went to untold wicked parties/clubs/gatherings n met untold wicked people of every possible creed & colour from all over the place.
I truly beleived we were all part of a revolution that would change the world!!
Maybe it was the little white mdma caps-who knows. :eyebrow:
Difficult to beleive looking around now.
But it was definately the best few years of my life without a doubt.
As long as i live i will hold those memories close to my heart,
I just wish i could go back n do it again & again & again................
Kris M.

Im 33 now-i dont look or feel that old-honest!

Was to young beetween 89-93, so it has to be 1995. There were some good partys this year especially the Century Rave 1 in the Jahrhunderthalle in Bochum with DJs like Steve Mason & Westbam (before he went shit!!!). Remember much phat tunes from that party where I cant sit down a while because I felt always the sound in my blood. Rving 12 hours without drugs, that was a top party

January 1996. The Bowlers re-opening night. My introduction to the best fun a boy could possibley have.

Although if HazyDayz continues to be so wonderful I might need to rethink.

i just noticed this resurected thread

Ok for me i was torn between '91 - was 17 and discovered the small underground club scene in Aberdeen ( yeah way up north), and took my first pill and '92 when things erupted and I was travelling down to the Eclipse and other clubs, and outdoor raves in England.

I went for '91 - just for the shivers up the spine rush :fekked: and the whole change from the beer guzzlers and dodgy mainstream crap clubs, to the open, friendly fantastic clubs and making like a million new friends !!!!!!

;)

started getting into chicago house in 88, went to me first under 18's rave (wigan pier)in 89 but the glory days had to be between 90-92, the pinacle was like most of you lot in 91. Although i did stay within the same few clubs, wish id have been more adventurous, but when you loved somethin so much why change?

I feel rather old these days, often tellin youngsters that it aint like the good old days, and tellin them the origins of the tunes that their speeded up covers on monroes tapes. Especially when asked have i heard this new tune, new tune its just a cover version, this aint nowwhere as good as the original lol .

My best yr has gotta be 1989.............

was getting familiar with the tunes from 1886 onwards cus its what my dad was listening to, then he took me to my first party at the Sett End in nov (i think) of 1988!!! i loved it that much that i made every effort to bug my dad to take me every wk end!!!! And then came 1989.....i made my own way!!! More Sett End, more warehouses and LIVE THE DREAM!!!!       Its certainly life changing stuff....and has been soley responsible the kind of person i am today imo :$ which aint a bad one lol ;)

1990 was great too......with the loss of the sett end....welcome shelleys , hacienda and the eclipse etc and 1991 was the introduction of ledgends, hacketts, the orbit and the bigger raves!! super yrs.......all of them!!!!
