Not that I have ever heard you play on OSA radio, but I think thats a very sweeping statement to make if you havent listened to EVERY single mix by EVERY single DJ on the radio :naughty:

no other dj on osa plays
take that
prefab sprout
the kooks
new order
depeche mode
pumpin piano house from mid ninties
ruthless rap assassins
new skool breaks
italo house
chicage house
hardcore
old skool breaks
funky house
new electro stuff
nwa
proper indie sets
trance
house
and fukk knows what else

its not a sweeping statement, theres not one other dj who plays a big as variety. I know this as theres not one person on here who listens to the radio as much as me, as (a) I can listen all night in work and then (b) I can listen all day and night when i'm off work for 4 days, although sayin that, with it raining none stop and it too miserable for u to go out then u have all the time in the world to listen to it;)

Come on Easty, you are blowing your own trumpet a little here are you not lol. I have heard a fair few others play a diverse set on here, Jonno was beat juggling with a Jap version of 'do you think i'm sexy' lol along with the orig Rod Stuart the other week, not to mention his Hawian mix of Hey Jude ffs. I myslef have played indie, disco, funk, soul and done an 80's pop set where i just chucked the next 7inch that came to hand. These are just a few examples that spring to mind, i am sure there are lots that i have missed that are equally, if not more so 'challening' lol. I hardly think you should give yourself the accolade of most diverse radio slot just yet.

Thats not that big a variety ;) Theres nothing like being modest tho is there

So you have listened to EVERY single radio mix then Easty? :| Thats some listening  You should get out in the gorgeous Manchester rain more :D

With having listened to the majority of Paulys mixes while hes playing, and me not being THAT up on all my genres, I'll say (with the exception maybe of Take That) he plays just as much variety if not more than that and if I wanted to listen to variety I would just listen to him

lool me blow my own trumpet. i think you'll find that theres a lot of peeps on here who think i do exactly the opposite of that. So i cant win lol.
Im not arsed at the end of the day, most diverse dj on osa radio is not something I would be proud to have on my headstone
the part of this thread that interested me was you callin sasha various names even though you have no evidence to back it up. hes done more for old skool than most, he put a lot of peeps onto a certain type of music. At the end of the day he was just the man lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time and whos to say that after 15-17 years hes not sick to the back teeth of the old skool and he doesnt like them tunes any more. if thats the case then why should he pay homage to em

No worries, at the end of the day i think that he should be a little more respectfull, you don't. It really ain't worth getting your nickers in a twist over.

Even if he did play an "oldskool set" would anyone be that arsed anyway? Would it be that monumental that people would be on their knees crying in the middle of the dancefloor? More to the point which knob would pay him a fortune to do it anyway, when you could get someone else equally qualified to do a better job?

yeah fair point.....but lets be honest you would want to see him play a one off set, but I don't think Id cry in the middle of the dancefloor!!!......and as for those far better qualified thats always been the case, there always were shit dj's (for mixing and tune selection) that made a good living and a big name for themselves.....take f**king judge jooles:turn:

All I have heard you play is ASHA, depeche mode or sped up piano sampling the very limited selection from the above ;)
